Navigating single life
I'm just a compass, a roadmap and some Ganni hiking boots away from finding my way as a 30-something single woman
A friend of mine* recently started dating again. Well, dating is an exaggeration. More like, she met up with this guy from Tinder one time and now they’ve been sleeping together every now and again. They never plan it out more than a day (or even hours) in advance, because they’re cool and casual like that. Or at least that’s what they both want the other to believe, I guess. However, real life is catching up with her.
Not only does she study full time, but she also has a part time job, a dog, an ex whom she still lives with and a workout plan that requires her to show up five times a week for a run. She has friends (thankfully) and homework and occasionally has to cook and do laundry and shop groceries. She has to wash her hair and blow dry it. You know, regular things. Her body also really wants her to sleep 8 hours a night, track her cycle and wind down every now and then. Are you sensing what I’m sensing? The math isn’t mathing.
