Okay so there’s something I need to tell you guys. A confession of you will. Here it goes.
As of now, I have 187 items registered in my Indyx. One hundred and eighty seven. Yeah, I know. And that’s not the worst part because there are items packed in boxes that I haven’t even added to Indyx yet. When I set up my Indyx in August I sorted through clothes that I wouldn’t need until winter and they just never got photographed. Two boxes of clothes.
Correct me if I’m wrong but I think I’ve heard
say that when she starts reaching the point of about 145 items in her closet, she gets overwhelmed. (Excuse the constant referencing to Anna but she is a True Inspiration of mine). I am overwhelmed! And this is why I am now starting a series called “Trying on all my clothes” because I need professional help. Yeah – that’s you guys.I’m starting with pants, because well, it’s the category that seems the easiest. Idk why, just does. And since I currently have 49 pairs (!) of pants in my Indyx I will need to categorize them as to not write a post as long as the Odyssey just about me trying on pants. And we’re starting with jeans. Denim.
Just need to show you guys proof of this insanity.
Jeans. Probably my most worn pant-type since about 2005. I remember wishing for a specific pair for probably six months and when the pair I was currently sporting finally tore or I grew out of them or something, the whole family headed to the denim store to observe me purchasing the holy grail pair.
Cut to today when I tried on 9 pairs of jeans that are currently in my closet. And again, a few are packed in boxes so that’s not even the full amount that I own. Obviously it might not be totally bonkers because my size has and probably will remain the same for some years. Aahh who am I kidding – no one needs 9 pairs of jeans. So now I need your help deciding which ones to part with and which ones will actually be used/loved. Let’s just jump right in, shall we?
(I’ll be trying them on with a regular tank top and Sambas so you get a fair comparison)(please ignore the mess that is our office).
