What I wore in the past 10 days

Yellow? For spring? Groundbreaking

Saturday 26th of April

This was a going-out-to-dinner outfit and I felt great. There’s something about the Acne pistol boots that just always do it for me, but also, I can walk in them an entire evening without wanting to amputate my feet the next day. Love a dressed up denim jacket for spring. The knit served both as a way to get some shape between the loose pants and the oversized jacket, but also provided warmth on the way to the restaurant.

Sunday 27th of April

I wore this to celebrate my grandpa’s birthday - we had an outdoor barbecue int heir garden. My grandma asked me if I wanted to borrow a different jacket so I wouldn’t spill. Can you tell I’m the younger sister?

I really love these jeans (they’re a size 40, I’m usually a 36/38) but they have a slightly awkward fit. Like I borrowed a boyfriend’s pair but not in a cool way. But I’m also vibing with it? Idk I really like them and in this weird elevator posse I’m trying to perfect you can’t tell the crotch is droopy. Win.

Tuesday 29th of April

I ran out the door with wet hair (as if you couldn’t tell) but I was really into this outfit. There’s nothing like April to make me want to wear yellow and a dear friend of mine sent me a photo of herself wearing her yellow trenchcoat this morning and I was able to send her this photo back. Twinning in yellow!

Wednesday 30th of April

I wore this for a day out on the town together with Finn (<3) and I felt really smart. But I also kind of felt like this is an outfit I want to pull out again in like late September or early October. The colours felt a little heavy for spring. This outfit has made me think of ways to wear this blazer as a jacket though and therefore I may have finally cracked the blazer code for myself? We’ll see. Felt hot.

Thursday 1st of May

Didn’t do much on this day but as always, I did take a couple of walks with Finn. This outfit felt perfect for that. One thing about these moccasins are that they’ve already stretched out aa tiny bit whereas I would have liked them to be a whole lot more fitted. It’s a real pet peeve when the toe box of a show starts pointing every so slightly upwards - don’t you agree? Anyways, this outfit will be recreated for sure.

Friday 2nd of May

Okay so this was technically my second outfit of the day but it was a tricky one. I was going out for a quiz night with some friends and I was quietly assuming we would continue for some drinks and dancing. Which we did. I knew I wanted to wear these sort-of-parachute pants, and I also knew it was about 6 degrees Celsius outside. I decided to go for a one shoulder-top with a cardigan that didn’t really show underneath my Ganni crop leather jacket (that I spent a fortune on last time I was newly singled). Turn out to be a great night and the dancing kept me warm!

Sunday 4th of May

Oops, didn’t get this one either. But I had the whole family over at my new apartment and I did a version of the yellow jeans with a white t-shirt again. They’re my current favourite, what can I say.
