Two days ago, I started an argument with my boyfriend. On his birthday. And not any old birthday either - his 30th birthday. I’m the worst.
The only problem is, at the time, I felt like he was the worst. Isn’t that how it always goes? We had just had a lovely dinner together and were driving home when one of our *sensitive topics* came up in discussion. We should both have known better and stopped ourselves from going there. But we didn’t and we ended up in the same old tracks as usual. I won’t bore you with the details of the argument but it did (and does) touch upon a theme I’m hoping guessing might be quite common amongst others too? Let me try and explain.
