TBM has great tools — can confirm from experience! I love how they’ve pulled elements from Jungian, humanist, and existentialist therapy modalities and made it pretty digestible for someone to navigate on their own. It’s not a replacement for therapy obviously, but it is impressive and very helpful, especially while navigating a tough period in life. x
Lacy could be easy to dismiss bc her hair is so good, but she’s actually amazing and TBM is really helpful and there is no limit to the good things I could say about all of it. 🖤
Oh that makes me so happy to hear - how long have you been doing it and what has helped you the most? I talked to a friend yesterday who also confirmed how much she loves it so I’m eager to keep going
Definitely know what you mean about Babysitter. What started as a fascinating read became rather difficult and repetitive and while I appreciated JCO’s writing style, I had to psyche myself up before reading about yet another gross and violent scene. I really disliked Hannah but it was interesting to read her thoughts about those she perceived to be “lower” than her.
The days are starting to lengthen here as yours are shortening. I hope you share some tips on dealing with the longer nights, as so many of us find this so difficult! Keep well :)
Oh Hannah is so annoying and obnoxious, but also so fascinating to me. I did actually start on a Jojo Moyes book last night and now I don’t know if I’ll make myself go back and finish Babysitter… Time will tell.
I am definitely going to try TBM! Thank you for sharing Julia, it's always so refreshing to feel your honesty and transparency through the words in your articles.

I agree! It just feels like a great toolbox to have access to, for check-ins and diving deeper into certain behaviours

Ooh that would be incredible
