JULIA! The last episode of Severance left me in shock!!! I am rooting for the sweet Irvin of course, and Mark as well. Only thing I got to say is that the overall show is not rewarding enough for us viewer. For every question raised we have such tiny reveals and other 40 questions raised. I really hope we will understand more at some point!

Ooh good take!! I do agree with you but I think that's what keeps me hooked as well haha, I keep waiting for a BIG reveal! They keep bread crumbing us🙃

YES! I had never watched Severance until the second season was released and I did a season 1 watch. The only reason it scratched an itch is because I could watch an episode every night. I officially caught up to Season 2 on the wilderness episode and the last two episodes have been too slow of a reveal.

I am so happy I am not the only one feeling this! It gets too frustrating, right? I am in a constant state of confusion, and when they finally let me understand a bit it's not enough to keep me satisfied! ahaha

For skin- slather on aquaphor on clean skin and let it sit for ten minutes, then gently rub your face with a hot washcloth. That’s the best thing for my skin in the winter, but I use prescription strength retinol so my skin gets quite dry.

Severance, omg. I just did a rewatch of season 1 and I’m so absorbed in this universe. I am still on Mark’s side, but feeling more pulled to Milchik and obviously Dylan. I don’t trust outie Burt or Irving. Gah!

Ooh good tip - need to try! I haven’t yet jumped on the aquaphor bandwagon as I’ve been more of a skin food-girlie, but everyone loves it so def need to give it a go. And yes, it’s like I don’t trust any of the outies!! And Milchik is such a hard one to pin down!

Keen to see this leopard skirt! I’ve been a bit disappointed by Severance this season, but continue to watch it in the hopes that it will ramp up.

And I say that you should write about whatever you want to, at whichever point in your life, without concerning yourself too much with what is deemed “proper”. 🙂

Will try to show it soon! It’s still winter wonderland here in Sthlm but I think I can make it work with boots and knits. Just generally more excited to put on clothes than I have been in a long while! And yes, you’re so right!

Love running for exactly the reasons you said! (Also love/hate skiing for the same reasons, too!)

Haha skiing is such a mixed bag... Do I love it? Yes. Is it terrifying and kind of painful? Also yes.

Hahaha yes and now adding children in really takes it to another level 😂

Omg terrifying! Got my ski stuck in my nephew’s and almost took him down in the fall with me… Luckily nothing more than a bruised ego

Oh no! My son lost a pole in a pile of powder, so he got mine, and I had to ski down a very steep slope with his remaining one. Took way more skill than I had!

Ok Julia, love the ski pic but I don’t see any mtns behind you. Assuming they’re in the foreground?! I live in a mtn town in the west and Nordic skiing is my thing, guessing like running is for you. Keep up the good training - it feels so good! Oh, and I say, talk about dating whenever you feel like it. No rules!!

For dating timelines, it's such a gut feeling. I met someone less than two weeks after a 3 year relationship ended, but I had been grieving the relationship ending for months prior to actually ending it. Then when that more casual (some might say rebound, I would say it felt real to me) 4 month relationship ended I needed 6 months before getting back out there. But I'd say that if you go on a date and are finding yourself doing a lot of comparing, you might not be ready. Or if you're dreading dates, you might not be ready. But if the idea of it feels exciting and hopeful, feel free to get out there! Rules are all made up anyways :)

Thank you Mary for your thoughts! I totally agree with you that all timelines are made up and every breakup recovery is different. I just always dread a first date though😅 No matter ready or not

As someone who’s had a v good London facialist for the last decade go big on physical exfoliation ! Feels counter-intuitive but it will start waking up your skin cells and get rid of flakiness. Pull back on the hydration too…just get a good barrier cream so your cells keep working hard on their own moisturising (La Roche Posay) x ps Leopard is a neutral 💘

Great tips, thank you Camilla! I always love La roche posay when I go back to it so I don’t know why I ever really stop hah

My partner is big on marathon training, I’m less stoked about it and just like a lil 20m jog. Pickleball on the other hand gets me feeling like the best version of myself.

Also, I recommend pure lanolin if you’re not allergic to wool for repairing skin. I find it in the baby section.

I’ve never tried pickleball (and am generally shit at racket sports) but maybe I should give it a go sometime? And thank you for the recommendation, will definitely do som research on lanolin!
