Happy Monday. How are you? I’m actually quite mellow and feeling like I need an early night and a nourishing morning tomorrow. Well, as nourishing as it can be with two dogs (one of whom is a reaaaal tweenie) and a 3-year-old. It’s quite fast-paced from morning to evening here, something I’m not really used to. Being together with family in this intense way is always a roller-coaster ride, huh.
But more than anything else, I’m grateful to be spending so much time with my nephew and being able to give Finn so much outdoor time. He’s off leash a whole lot and absolutely loves it. (If you want to follow our Bornholm adventures, I’m actually back to posting on my ig @juliafamna)(at least for now).
So far my vacation wardrobe is holding up quite well. I think if anything, I could’ve brought one more sweater and maybe a pair of pants that weren’t thin linen or cotton. But I’m getting use out of practically everything, which is always the goal. I also bought a pair of black shorts that are quite loose and silky-feeling. They go almost all the way down to the knee but not quite. They fit a little like loose boxer-style shorts now that I think about it. Really liking them.
I actually love summer dressing. Everything feels easier and less serious, but also more sexy. I need less accessories because my hair is wilder and my legs are more tan.
I know I’m so late to the ChatGPT party, and I also wrote an entire post on why I don’t like it, but I have to say I’ve started using it a lot more. For my last course before summer, I used it to get good and clear explanations about some maths stuff. I used it for fun to determine what to write to a guy I was going on a date with, and my friend and I were really impressed with the tips it provided hah. And now I’m currently using it to help me track my proteins and nutrients in my food. Everyone and their mother has been raving about hitting your protein intake so I wanted to get a general sense of where I was at with what I was eating daily. And no one is surprised to hear yet another person say - I was not hitting my protein. So now, together with ChatGPT, I’m keeping track of my food for a couple of weeks (or however long I can be bothered) and I’m actually quite enjoying it.
Have you used ai for something health-related? What did you like/not like about it? And are there any tips to get the most out of it?
Remember my amazing friend who sends me “Happy Friday”-texts? Well another fabulous thing she does is send me different moodboards for her day, and I’ll do the same back. It always puts my smile on my face. So here’s on for you all (inspired by my friend M <3).

I finally got around to catching up on my Substack reading and damn. Everyone’s putting out high-quality content. Is it the summer energy that is just binging every single writer into their element?
Felt such recognition in
and her “dark night of the soul”. Wow have I been there, looking for jobs, finding nothing, not knowing where to turn, feeling drained, and so on and so forth. Rooting for you!Whenever
does a round up of things she’s coveting - you know I’ll be watching closely. This month’s On My Mind, in My Shopping Bag! is nothing short of great, filled to the brim with inspiring things to add to your wishlist.I’ve followed
for years, all the way from her first pregnancy. And I’m just as obsessed with her style today as I was back then. What I’m lusting over now? Her translucent fish pendant (how could I forget my fish necklaces at home?).One thing I’m always a sucker for is getting a glimpse into someone else’s daily life, especially if it makes me positively green with envy. And that’s how I feel about
and her diary style post about her perfect life in Cph. Red it and weep (in a really good way haha).- is probably one of my top 3 styling inspos, like, ever. The combinations are always spot on, but never seem try-hard or crazy for the sake of getting attention. If you’re not yet following, you definitely should. And also take a look at this fabulous birthday trip + vacation style.
- always has the most useful tips on how to maximise your closet without spending or worrying about needing more *stuff*. So when she gathers some of the creme de la creme of fashion Substack to give their two cents on how to beat wardrobe boredom – you take note.
Okay - time to brush my teeth and hope for a sunnier day tomorrow. Both literally and figuratively. Thank you for taking the time to read (and comment <3<3<3). Wishing you all a beautiful start to the week.
Oh and just before you go…
I just finished my graduate degree in San Francisco and many of my professors lead their own startup or work for big tech. Every single one of them has said if you don't learn how to use AI now, you'll be left behind in the workplace. All of my tech classes included assignments using AI platforms. Things I've learned: it still hallucinates, so always check sources and numbers. It's great as a project management tool and can concisely organize lists and tasks. If it's helping you tweak coding or writing, ask for a list of any changes it makes.
And I feel you on the protein intake. Fiber has crept in as the new protein here if you want to get ahead of the curve 😂
I thought the first moodboard picture was a life update and I was like 👀👀👀👀👀
